THE TWO F’S
WE SHOULD ALL LIVE BY
As the self proclaimed Enjoyment Minister of London, I believe it is my duty to provide you with all the amazing places I was fortunate to visit during my two month stay in the beautiful city, London!
- Duck and Waffle
The ultimate 4am post-clubbing experience. Duck and Waffle is a restaurant located on the 40th floor in the heart of London and boasts a stunning view. I got to enjoy the most beautiful sunrise surrounded by friends and family, engaging in the standard politics debate and devouring the most delicious food. Ofcourse, I got the ‘Duck and Waffle’ which truly blew my mind. The duck melted in your mouth while the waffle provided the perfect crunch: a brilliant myriad of texture and flavour.

Outfit – Bold, solid colored jumpsuit + single strap heels!
2. Pop Brixton
Had the opportunity to get on the Radio with DjFemo and the studio was located in Pop Brixton! Made of recycled containers and located in South London, it definitely has a different vibe from everywhere aforementioned.
There are many restaurants to try out and lots of stores to satisfy all your window shopping desires.

Outifit– Anything vibrant!
3. Toy Room
I’m not a huge fan of clubs, but this club was an experience. It’s a very discrete location as an underground club in Soho. Upon arrival you’re stamped with invisible ink which glows in the dark; the club has a collection of pop art installations, lots of neon lights and just an overall great time.
I will admit it was a bit of a hassle to get into and it’s strictly by table reservation. Ensure you’re in your best clothes because this is not one for the weak hearted!
Outfit– Mini patent leather skirt number and comfortable heels to keep you dancing all night long!
3. Kyoto Gardens
A serene get a way located in the heart of Holland Park! Not everyday is about the fast paced city life, sometimes just chill and take in the calming vibes of the universe. I absolutely enjoyed my day spent in Holland Park, playing in the kiddies playground with no shame, hiking and endless photo ops.
Outfit– Comfortable hiking shoes, leather mini dress and minimal accessories.
Sushi of life! I’ve never had a sushi platter hit the spot like this one; who am I kidding? It hit ALL THE SPOTS. If you like Japanese cuisine, this is the place for you. A great selection of wines, great service, beautiful ambience and an overall great time.
Sorry to the baby squid I devoured but you were absolutely delicious!
Located in Leicester Square.

Outfit– Pinstripe corset + oxblood pleated skirt.
5. The Friendly Society
A quirky bar located in Soho! With everything from Barbies stuck to the ceiling to a sea of disco balls draping down, this is the ultimate experience. Order The Friendly Baby and thank me later.
Make sure you have your Uber app ready to go at the end of the night because the underground doesn’t run after midnight, and we all know the party starts at midnight.
Outfit– Your favorite feminist attire!
6. Ikoyi London
Recently established restaurant in central London, Ikoyi serves gourmet Nigerian cuisine. I loved the location and the ambience. The Octopus Pepper Soup & Coastal Herbs was a delightful choice and I’m obsessed with the Wild Nigerian Tiger Prawn!
We got sat thirty minutes after our reservation and our meals didn’t arrive in a timely fashion. The Beef Suya Blade was tough & the kitchen was closed before we could order any dessert.
Proud of a Nigerian establishment making waves but there’s room for improvement. I’ll definitely say it’s a restaurant you have to try at least once!

Outfit– Mom jeans, oversized blazer & Dior kitten heels!
7. Tate Modern: Art in The Age of Black Power
One of the most amazing and moving exhibitions I have seen in a long time! It highlights the experiences of Black people in America during Slavery and the Freedom Rights movement through art. I lost myself in the art for about two hours and it was pure bliss!
Very family friendly and was an amazing educational opportunity for my baby brother!
Rating – 10/10
Outfit- Your favorite dress over a pair of jeans + booties.
8. Milk Train
Nothing short of amazing! After seeing this beautiful creation on Instagram, I sought out the store to get my piece of dessert heaven and it was oh-so worth it!
I would love a bigger store with more sitting space & a less messy table upon arrival situation.
Outfit– Loose t-shirt, mini denim skirt & your fav sneakers
9. Roof Top East
Me and 30+ beautiful blogger babes had The Blogger Point Brunch at Roof Top East in Stratford and it was nothing short of amazing! Lots and lots of Food & Drink options ranging from Italian Pizzas to sloppy burgers.
Located opposite Westfield Stratford so you can get all your calories and your shopping in for the day. You’re welcome.

Outfit– Blush romper + cute heels!
10. Afternoon Tea
You can’t really and truly have lived your London experience without having afternoon tea! My favorite place is located in Sloane Square super close to the Saatchi Gallery ( totally forgotten the name at the moment).
What’s better than scones, macaroons and girl talk on a chilly day in London?
What is your favorite place to visit when you’re in London? Let me know!
Thank you so much for reading! Extremely grateful for this experience and delighted to be able to share it with you all.
