How do you tell him?
How do you tell the one that loves you that one night, a thief came and stole all the love
How do you tell him that you no longer know what love is or what it feels like
That love is the very reason your cheeks have feasted on the saltwater of your eyes for days
How do you tell him that even though you know love is light, you have sat in darkness for days and nights.
That the sun no longer knows your name,
the stars no longer gaze on your face.
How do you tell them that love is the reason your chest tightens at night.
Love is the reason you wake up with a bitter taste you carry around all day long.
How do you tell the man that gave you the moon and the stars that it all means nothing to you
That the only thing you know is the silence that has enveloped your soul
That in this vacuum, pain is a synonym for love,
and love is pain.
So as you can tell I write poetry and I finally feel like it is time to share this part of myself with you for an even more amazing BejewelledBud experience. I write a lot about love, hurt and pain; basically the beauty that is life.
Please note that I write poems in a transcendent mind frame, meaning some of it is fictional.
My poetry is very personal and opens you up to the depths of my soul. Please feast on my words and feel free to let me know how they make you feel, what parts of your soul they kiss & leave a lasting impression on.
